Much Needed Update

Let me start off by saying that if you are not family (real or fake), don't like naked baby pictures and don't really care to read a really long post then stop now. We have been gone a long time and then came back and our week has been a week of trying to get back into our regular routine. We had a great time in Bakersfield and a lot of pictures to go with it. I will explain as I post the pictures. So here it goes...

This is my nephew Brayden, he was so excited to see Bradley and loved playing with outside.

This is our first night in Bakersfield. Bradley found the sand pile at my parents house. He didn't want anything to do with the swimming pool, but he loved the sand.

As you can imagine, Bradley took a really long bath and gave himself a mud scrub. People pay big money for that in Cali, and Bradley managed to do it for free!!!

The next few pictures are of the work that my dad is doing on their house. They are adding a closet for my mom that is 10 by 13. Yes it is going to be a room with bars to hang clothes on. But she deserves it, she just finished getting her Masters Degree in Special Education. They are also adding an office and a second story game room. Bradley was desperate to help and my dad was so patient with him. My dad gave him his very own tape measure and he would put it on his belt like my dad does and then measure things. When you ask him how big it was he would say "3, 4, 5". It was adorable and a big hit with the contractor that is helping my dad.

This is a picture of just the new slab poured. I got to help and I tore off the stucco of the existing house and tore back part of the roof. I also got to help raise walls and made a couple of trips to home depot.

This is a picture with the addition on the first floor framed and some of the sheeting up.

This is my dad being really patient with Bradley, he would even explain why he was doing everything. Bradley loves his Papa Nick.

Bradley also thinks that anything that Papa Nick has he needs and my dad obliged.

This is Bradley in the pool with Papa Nick. Papa Nick would jump off of the diving board holding Bradley and he liked that. If you can see the wall in the background, my dad built that also.

This is Bradley and his Grandma Karen.

This is Bradley in his big boy swim trunks. They were too big so most of the time he went naked or in a swim diaper. But we ran out of the swim diapers about half way through the vacation.

Bradley loved to climb in my moms cabinets that keep all the blankets. He would climb in there and shut the doors. He loved it.
